How Do You Inspire People To Pin & Open?


Well the title of this blog post should inspire a little interest to discover more and that was my intention.

There are a couple of super clever WSO’s out there and both have the same aim – to get people to take action!

If you wonder what the missing link in getting people to Pin your images so they go viral or open your emails that you send out to your subscribers, then these two superb WSO’s are for you!

I’ve been learning so much from this lady its untrue!  She has inspired me to develop new ways to gain interest in my posts or my blog images both to get more immediate attention but also to encourage the viewer to take action.

I have the product right in front of me now, I was lucky enough to have received a review copy.. I have to say this really IS the “missing link” that we all need to read in order to keep up with the 2012 changes that have been taking place in social media.The point is, we have to start thinking more “visually” in terms of our social marketing. Just as we are becoming adjusted to the new way of marketing with social media in a less aggressive fasion, now this new twist, the VISUAL social-media twist, is huge.

Barb shows all the things you should be doing for you or your clients to bring in to your Facebook and other marketing. You will be ahead of the curve-ball if you get this, rather than playing “catch up” with the groundswell of changes.

I remember speaking with Harris Fellman back in January, as an example, about something called “Pinterest” that was of interest to his wife.. Nobody, not one person had released a WSO or any product on it at the time that I knew of, but within weeks of that discussion it exploded! Now Pinterest is playing an important role in how we look at social media… and here we have a good blueprint on how it all connects.

The other often discussed issue amongst marketers is what to do to encourage your subscribers or your client subscribers to open their mail.

Open Me – Open Me – Open Me

Yeah it might work to just repeat your request on the other hand, your subscribers might think you are spamming them.  Subscribers are more aware of spam and are more fed up increasingly of being offered nothing but links with no value added.  Some marketers have an email list to which they send regular content mixed with occasional useful product promotions, some go over the top and send out daily promotions and there will be others who have a different plan.

All marketers are at the end of the day, marketers!  So it is their job to both create and develop products or become an affiliate of others and if they are a decent marketer, they will only promote the products they have actually checked out and are comfortable with.

Yes, I subscribe only to those email lists and marketers who I like to read and trust will only send me products they’ve reviewed or know the creator well.  And that is exactly how I roll when it comes to mailing out my list.

I also throw in the odd gift just to say thankyou for remaining loyal to me and for checking out my blog posts.

Now that Aweber has a facility where you can create smaller groups within your list, you can soon work out who is most responsive and who is not and you can target your most responsive readers with your best content and gifts.
